1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using tyretrawler.com.au ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Tyre Trawler Is

Tyre Trawler is a price comparison and information service. We are not a retailer, reseller, or tyre fitter. We do not sell tyres, take payment, or hold inventory.

When you click through to purchase, you are transacting directly with the relevant retailer (eBay sellers, TyreSales, mycar, Beaurepaires, Supercheap Auto, or other third parties). Those retailers' own terms and conditions apply to your purchase.

3. Pricing Accuracy

We make every effort to display accurate, up-to-date prices. However:

• ▸Prices shown are estimates and may have changed since we last retrieved them.
• ▸Cashback rates and discount codes are verified periodically but may expire without notice.
• ▸Effective prices (after cashback and codes) are indicative — actual savings depend on your account status with cashback providers and whether codes remain valid.
• ▸Shipping costs shown are estimates and may vary by address.

Always verify the final price on the retailer's site before purchasing.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

Tyre Trawler participates in affiliate programs. When you click certain links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These include:

5. Fitting Enquiry Service

The "Tyres with Fitting" feature allows you to submit an enquiry to a nearby fitment centre. By submitting an enquiry, you understand that:

• ▸Tyre Trawler acts only as a lead-generation intermediary — we are not a party to any fitting agreement.
• ▸The fitment centre sets their own prices, availability, and terms.
• ▸We cannot guarantee a response, specific pricing, or availability from any fitment centre.
• ▸Any booking, payment, or service agreement is solely between you and the fitment centre.

6. AI Tyre Advisor (Rex)

The Rex AI advisor provides general information and guidance about tyres. It is powered by a large language model and may occasionally provide inaccurate or outdated information. Rex's responses are not professional automotive advice. Always consult a qualified tyre fitter for vehicle safety decisions. We accept no liability for decisions made based on Rex's output.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• ▸Scrape, crawl, or otherwise systematically extract data from the Service without written permission.
• ▸Submit false or fraudulent booking enquiries.
• ▸Attempt to circumvent, damage, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• ▸Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

• ▸The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
• ▸We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on prices, cashback rates, discount codes, or AI advisor responses displayed on the Service.
• ▸We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any retailer, fitment centre, or cashback provider.
• ▸Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed AUD $100.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by contract.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on tyretrawler.com.au — including the Rex mascot, logo, design, and copy — is owned by Tyre Trawler and may not be reproduced without written permission. Third-party trademarks (retailer names, brand logos) remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
